So many missionaries and their service

We started the interview process for one more round.  This is an emotional one as we greet each missionary.  Terri has a surprise for them which we won't share here because we're trying to make it a surprise for everyone.  There are many tears.  We're glad we still have zone conference in about 10 days where we get to see everyone again.  We will  have a few more interviews after that before the last transfer.  So many 'lasts'....

We started with the Yeongdeungpo and Bucheon District.  We had a great bunch of interviews, district council and a surprise tasty treat for dessert.  They were surprised.  This district is very diverse.
 A Philippine and a Korean,
 An American and a Korean,
Two Americans, but one is half Argentinian,
A sister from the Philippines and a sister from Mexico.  They all have so much personality and joy in them.
They even had a special musical number for us before we left.  Watch to the end!

We then met with the Gimpo and Cheungna District.  Another diverse district.
An Argentinian and an American,
A Utahn and a Wyoming girl,
 Two Utah girls,
a Philippino and a Nevada young man.

The camera got away...

The third day we didn't have a district council with the Incheon District, but we did have a joint service project on that day.  We went to a Red Cross supported hospital to help serve food to elderly poor and to clean dishes.  Wow, it was one of the funnest hours we spent this week...  The smiles seem the biggest when serving others!

This is the dining area when it was nearly finished.  It was pretty crowded from 11:00 - 12:30.
They even fed us afterwards.

We then went back to the church for interviews and Sister Turner's surprise Tasty Treat.  We got to share a birthday this time.  You'll have to wait until later to learn what the surprise tasty treat was...
 Complete with singing...

Sometimes the elders are very uncomfortable putting their arms around Sister Turner!

They normally overcome it with a nudge...
This elder, like Sister Turner smiles and his eyes disappear,
Some times we all exaggerate so everyone feels better...

Great day for an outdoor picture.
We all have our unique personalities...

On Saturday there was another baptism to attend.  It truly was a spiritual event with great support.  He even brought his mother, father, and a close friend to be with him on the special day.

Another unique thing we started is having Korean Connect classes.  We have been teaching EnglishConnect, but this group of elders have started a new class to teach foreigners working in Korea the local language. It appears they are off to a good start.

We are having a great time with the missionaries.  We are busy with them and they are busy in their work.  We hope you saw someone you know and love, but if not, there will be about 32 more interviews this upcoming week.  How we love their talents, their personalities, and their zest for life and the work they are doing.  Thanks for your ongoing support and love!
