Lots of interviews, trips to the temple, and musical performances

We have had two very full weeks and the next two will be the same!  We hope to get caught up today for the last two weeks.  We spent nearly two weeks getting up close and personal with five of the six zones.  Here is a host of pictures.  We hope you can find a picture of your son or daughter.  If they're not here, we hope to have them this next week.

We love being able to spend individual time with each elder and sister!
We went to the temple on the last two Thursday's.  They continue to be good sports about letting Terri strategically place them for pictures.  We think they had some fun...

We hope you can find your missionary somewhere in these pictures.  You can click on the picture and blow them up a bit to get some detail.
We also had the first of three musical firesides put on primarily by the missionaries with a local choir as well.  If you desire to see your son or daughter actually perform, we may have them on our Facebook page: Roger W Turner   Just request to be a friend.  Unfortunately, we are very limited on the size of the file we can load here and if it's over a minute in length we have to post on Facebook.  We don't include their name for privacy reasons.

These are the full performers for the first special night of music.  The missionaries are performing and recent new converts are sharing their special experiences.  The mix of talent is unbelievable.  Whether a solo, a mix or large choir, they are amazing.

We can't lose track of the purpose for us to be here with our missionaries, to bring others to Christ.  We attended three baptisms these past two weeks and missed others because there were too many to get to.  The joy and light in the faces is very memorable!

From the young to the old, there is great joy in these meetings.  It's fun to watch them be together.

On the funny side, here's a female motorcycle rider. From this angle you can't tell it looks like a motorcycle with training wheels, three wheels on the back.  The "Hello Kitty" helmet is priceless!
Here are some pictures from the trail I run.  In the midst of a busy city are some very amazing family garden plots.  There is a stream that I run along which they pump water from.  It's amazing to see them make good use of space.

This is Don Quixote in front of a building being remodeled because of a fire a year or so ago.
For Mother's Day, Terri got some new flowers for the roof-top garden.  We've grilled some chicken for Fajitas, but that's about all the time we have had.  The weather is amazing right now so Terri sits in the garden area and reads and studies and prepares for the work of each day.
Occasionally, the pace catches up with us and we need a minute to just relax.  It's only fair that we get worn out as hard as all our missionaries are working!
Finally, if you need some sunflowers in your life, here's one for you to hold up.  The young ladies are always having fun.
Please know there are times when we try to remove the stress from the missionaries' lives for just a moment.  It may be for one or two missionaries or for a zone or half a mission.  We're seeing more and more miracles from their work ethic and they seem to be very happy. They radiate joy and the love of the Savior in all they do.  Please know we love and are focused on the health, welfare, and safety of every missionary like they are our own children.  We love being with them!
