Where to Start? So much going on!

How do we summarize everything that's happened since our last post.  Thank you for your patience!  The month of Consecration which was April was amazing. The missionaries increased their normal efforts by about 50% as a total.  Amazing things have happened and kept everyone busy.

As promised, we got the last six interviews completed.  We can't let the loved ones miss out on seeing these amazing faces!

We said goodbye to three wonderful young people who returned home.  We can't say enough about how we will miss them and their impact on our mission!  We wish them the very best in their pursuits!
This good elder had a quiet evening with Sister Turner and I.  He blessed us with his talent and sang for us.  These Hawaiians and their abilities with an Ukulele are such a joy. Too big for the blog you'll have to go on our Facebook page: KSSM Pres Turner to see it.

We had a special training session for our Mission Leadership Council.  We didn't get a picture, but we did get a short video clip.    They are amazing leaders!

That same week we welcomed some incredible new missionaries.  They are really something!    Here they are at the airport with the greeting team.
Here they are with the same team having their first meal in Korea.
Here they are with their trainers.  A few extras are the Assistants to the President.  As you can see, the weather has warmed up sufficient that the jackets are off.
Here they are with their mission president and mission mom!  This sister is full Korean but born and raised in California.  Her sister served here with us.  We're excited for her!
This young man is born and raised in Korea, already finished his mandatory military training and two years of university.  He is ready to serve!
This young man from Oregon is the tallest in the mission.  Between his height and his personality, he'll really stand out.  Someone said his hair might also be a Beacon of Light!
The camera got away on this one!
The missionaries have been working hard and so many people's lives have been enriched by their service and love.  They are smart, diligent and humble in their teaching of the gospel message.  We wish we could attend everyone of these events!  Here are some of the fruits of their efforts:

They participated in musical numbers.
This little once participated, but she'd put in all she could!
Around here we had some amazing weather and the spring flowers are out in abundance.  We even have a few visitors to the roof:
We had an amazing storm one day where out of nowhere marble size hail came. We captured it on the roof.  We wanted to protect the plants, but they did okay on their own.

My morning runs have been gorgeous. Spring is amazing.  Twenty years ago when we lived here, there was little green space.  Now they have lots of space that they keep up nicely.

Another post will follow shortly given a week of being able to see some sights with our lovely daughter and husband and their friend.  We are so blessed to see good things all around us.
