The Christmas Season is definitely upon us

This was a crazy busy week of interviews and activities with missionaries.
Only having 15 minutes or so with each missionary doesn't give us much time, but we make all we can from it.  They are a delight.  We hope you can find your favorite person!

Not everyone has 'Hello Kitty' wet wipes.  It was a special gift from a missionary going home!
These bricks are emergency 72 hour kit ration bars.  Hope to never use them....

If you blow this up a bit, you'll see the 'angel' at the top is Zazoo... It's been on our tree for many years!
Even the interview venues can be chilly.  Kept our coats and scarves handy.

This sister received a package with a Christmas tree in it.  What joy that brought to us.

We said farewell to a loving sister this week as she returned to the US.  We will miss her greatly.
After we dropped her off, we had a few minutes before rushing back to the work so we stopped at Dunkin' Donuts for a little treat.  Terri could hardly wait for that snow man's head. We then had a moment to enjoy the airport Christmas lights.  For 12 years running, this airport has been voted number one in the world.  It's pretty amazing.
Along with the young full-time missionaries, we also have time with the senior couples.  Usually, it includes food!
We also took a quick trip on the bullet train from Seoul to the south side of the mission.  It was 18 minutes down and two hours back.  We didn't plan ahead so we found the next bullet didn't return for four hours...  We'll plan better next time.
One evening we did a missionary activity with about 30 other missionaries.  Some sang carols as an elder played the violin while others did a sticker boarding activity and visited with pedestrians.  The really amazing thing was that the violinist played without gloves for an hour in 20 degree weather.  He is pretty amazing.
We then were able to participate in a special stake event where the missionaries shared some talents with skits and music.  We enjoyed this so much.
 She's a Christmas star!

We sometimes include a food item in the blog.  Today, it was a special fish we had at lunch.  It was surprisingly good for us.  We are not big fish fans, but this was great.
This lovely sister got a package from home with little packages of sauce from one of her favorite taco places.  We wouldn't think about taking of that from her!
Another great week ahead of us with more interviews and time with missionaries.  We hope you all are having a great time preparing for Christmas.  We finally got our tree decorated this week as you can tell from the pictures above.  We may leave it up longer since we got it up late.  Or, we'll leave it up because we won't have much time to take it down.
