Phones, interviews, and the temple

Our missionaries received new tools for doing missionary work this week.  Ask them about how they feel about their............ smart phones!  They are like kids in a favorite store with an unlimited budget.  It will be interesting to see how they do with them.  They complain about every person they pass on the street being tied to their phones and not paying attention to anything around them.  Now, our missionaries have the same item in their hands.  The difference is that they have to share one phone between two of them.  Also, no headphones are allowed.  The sites and apps they can access are very limited right now as well.

 This week included more interviews and two trips to the temple.
The interviews were great.  We hope you enjoy the pictures.  Their props are pretty interesting.
 She's really not trying to give Sister Turner rabbit ears, she just like doing the 'v' with her fingers.  (Really she is trying to give me bunny ears.  She whispered "hop, hop" in my ear :}
 Eight elders live in this house.  It's wonderfully clean and nice.  The mask is a hit.

 This elder has his learning plan on a big white board for the world to help him in his studies!
 Hard to think there would be two happier sisters than these two,
 except maybe these two.  They are having fun!
 This house needs a lighting change.  We're working on that.
 If it weren't for ties and Sister Turner, there wouldn't be any color in this house...
 These four service two military units and the generous members make life great.  They wanted to show off for the rest of the mission...
 Christmas in in the air in this house, they have the little tree between their beds at night...
This fine couple shared their lunch with us.  They provide services to the single and unaccompanied US military in two camps.  What a service they provide!

Because of a tight schedule and the temple being closed for a few weeks, instead of having visits over three Thursdays, this week we put one day on Wednesday and the other the next day, Thursday.  We hope you find some fun pictures.  You'll likely find some anomalies with the panoramic shots.  They had fun with them.  Terri is back, strategically placing people, and searching for fun poses.

Here are some live shots as well.  Sorry they're so jerky and quick.  You'll have to pause them to get a picture of your missionary.  (Please note the banana peel strategically placed..:}

This week, while traveling to interviews we saw a number of interesting things.  We hope you enjoy them as well.  These are things your missionaries may or may not see because of their limited travel above ground.  They spend a lot of time on the subways.
 A nicely landscaped area outside the walled city in Suwon
Changes in the leaves during a morning run,
An amazing design on the side of a bus on the expressway.
What looks at first like a snoozing construction worker in the back of a truck, but is a manikin used in place of a live person on road sites,
Fun paintings on the side of apartment or business buildings,

A heavily laden persimmon tree (I'd hate to walk under this one at the wrong time!)
Babar sitting on a building, again, I'd hate to walk under this in an inappropriate moment.
The closest we were to Halloween this year was a box received by an elder from his family.  They were thoughtful of the rule of no masks.  These were fun.
Many of the missionaries performed in a musical event on Saturday evening.  Their performances were posted on Facebook.  If you want to see them, remember to request to be a friend on KSSM Pres Turner.  We love to share with family members of our missionaries.

Zone conferences this next week.  You should see your missionary next week in some of the pictures.
They're loads of fun.  However, they also know how to work hard when they should.  Good things are happening.  We hope they share with you the miracles they share with us.  Until next time!
